🔥 Entering the Year of the Horse 🔥
There is a sacred pause between endings and beginnings.
The Year of the Snake asked us to shed.
To outgrow.
To slither quietly through the dark and confront what we would rather not see.
It was a 9 year - completion. Closure. The last breath before a new inhale. 💨
The snake does not apologize for shedding its skin. It does not cling to what once protected it. It recognizes when the old layer has become too tight, too restrictive, too small for the life pressing from within. And so it releases.
Last year held that energy.
Lower energy rising to the surface.
Questions without immediate answers.
Doubt.
Uncertainty.
Moments of hibernation.
Digesting hard truths in the quiet.
The snake teaches us that growth is not glamorous. It is slow. Internal. Often unseen. It requires us to move through darkness to understand the light.
And now - we bow in gratitude.
Thank you for the shedding.
Thank you for the lessons.
Especially the painful ones.
Because they strengthened the muscle of awareness.
🐍 From Shedding to Movement 🐴
Now we enter the Year of the Horse - and with it, a Numerological Year 1.
A 1 year is initiation.
It is the seed breaking soil.
It is the first step.
It is the moment you decide.
No more stagnancy.
No more doubting.
No more uncertainty.
Year 1 does not wait for permission. It creates.
The horse embodies this shift perfectly.
Where the snake moves low to the ground, internal and introspective, the horse moves forward - heart open, muscles engaged, breath strong, hooves steady. The horse is action. Commitment. Momentum.
But here is the deeper teaching:
A horse does not move from ego.
It moves from energy.
✨ Energy Is the Language ✨
Energy cannot be created and it cannot be destroyed.
It can only be harnessed and changed.
Horses understand this in a way humans often forget.
They do not respond to your words.
They respond to your nervous system.
They read your breath.
They feel the tension in your shoulders.
They sense the coherence - or incoherence - between what you say and what you embody.
A horse knows safety through energetic regulation.
If your heart is racing, if your thoughts are scattered, if fear is sitting just beneath your smile - the horse feels it instantly. Not to judge. Not to condemn. But to discern.
Their communication is subtle yet powerful:
A flick of the ear
A shift in weight
A soft exhale
A stillness that says, I trust you
Horses live in attunement.
They navigate through frequency.
And when they choose to run, it is because the energy has shifted - because clarity has arrived.
This is our invitation.
🔥 Transmuting the Old 🔥
The energy that was carried last year - the questioning, the doubting, the slow digestion of experience - must now be harnessed.
Not discarded.
Not denied.
Transmuted.
The snake shed the skin.
The horse uses the muscle beneath it.
All that introspection has built strength.
Now that strength must move.
The energy you carried - even the heavy parts - is fuel. It is potential waiting for direction. Only you can change its form. Only you can decide what it becomes.
The 9 year asked: What must end?
The 1 year asks: What will you begin?
There is no hierarchy in creation.
No privilege in potential.
Energy does not discriminate.
We are all equal in the world of becoming.
It is what we choose to do with our energy that creates the divots and divides.
The Discipline of the Horse
The horse is not frantic.
It is powerful because it is steady.
Patience is power.
Trust is power.
Perseverance is power.
Knowing is power.
A horse does not question every step. It feels the ground. It adjusts. It continues.
This is not chaotic movement.
This is committed movement.
In this Year 1, action does not mean rushing.
It means choosing.
It means deciding and following through.
It means no longer circling the same doubts.
No more stagnancy.
No more doubting.
No more uncertainty.
Forward.
✨ A Moment of Stillness Before the Gallop
Today of all days, take a moment in silence.
Sit with yourself.
Give thanks for the lessons - especially the painful, difficult ones. They shaped you. They refined you. They stripped away illusion.
Then bring your focus ahead.
👉Who are you becoming?
👉What path are you walking?
👉What changes will you create - one steady step at a time?
The horse does not look backward while running. It trusts the direction it has chosen.
And so must we.
🙏🏻 A Prayer of Gratitude 🙏🏻
Thank you, Great Creator,
for the shedding.
For the endings.
For the questions that brought clarity.
Thank you for the fire that now moves through us.
For the courage to begin again.
For the energy within and around us that can be shaped, guided, and directed toward the life we choose to build.
May we harness it.
May we cultivate it in our hearts and minds.
May we move forward with strength, humility, and perseverance.
Like the horse - powerful, present, and unwavering.
The year of shedding is complete.
The year of becoming has begun.
